St Giles's church is the venue for the annual liturgical
weekend organised by Eastern Early Music Forum.
Michael Procter always takes great care of
the liturgical details. Here he discusses
the service with the Rector, Jonathan Young.
St Giles is the hermit who placed himself
in front of the hart to protect it from the
king's arrow. The king then made him an abbott.
The church has an interesting collection of
saints, particularly as stained glass
windows and on the painted screen.
Waiting for the bell to start the introit.
